  • **Vendor Selection and Performance:** Participate in the project vendor selection process and evaluate the performance of firms rendering services.
  • **Stakeholder Management:** Establish and maintain contact with organizations, government agencies, and educational and healthcare institutions.
  • **Team Leadership:** Lead the Facilities Development Team in maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • **Human Resources:** Manage various human resources functions, including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and performance counseling.
  • **Process Development:** Develop and update departmental project management standards and protocols.
  • **Budget Development:** Develop and successfully deliver on the annual departmental operational budget.
  • **System Knowledge:** Maintain functional knowledge and use of the eBuilder project management system.
  • **Attendance and Compliance:** Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • **Policy Compliance:** Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field of study. Alternatively, a minimum of 20 years of progressive healthcare design and construction experience, completed Florida AHCA projects, and professional development credentials, including a Florida General Contractors License and certification as an AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor.
  • **Licensure:** State of Florida Certified General Contractors license, active licensed professional architect or engineer, or AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor.
  • **Experience:** Ten years minimum of progressively responsible construction management, engineering, facilities planning, or architecture experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
