Position Overview

As a Global Supply Chain Operations Leader at Amazon, you will be instrumental in enhancing and refining our operational processes. This role requires a strategic mindset with a strong foundation in planning, aimed at optimizing the flow of products, information, and services across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Cultivate a high-performing team by providing clear guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth, while fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives focused on enhancing network capacity across various business sectors within Amazon.
  • Flow Optimization: Focus on the effective management of goods, information, and services throughout the supply chain.
  • Efficiency Assessment: Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of distribution networks, warehouses, and logistics operations.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data to uncover opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Metrics Definition: Establish performance metrics and develop management frameworks to support decision-making in complex scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across multiple functions to facilitate alignment and achieve shared objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Oversee initiatives that promote ongoing enhancements and adherence to lean principles.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify and implement improvements in inventory management, logistics strategies, and transportation efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize key metrics to ensure seamless operations within the supply chain.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management, business, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in program or project management, particularly in network capacity.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive process enhancements.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel and familiarity with SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA in relevant disciplines.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements in network capacity.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to manage large datasets.
