Position Overview:
Location: Hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence two days a week.
Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract with opportunities for extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Exceptional communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Able to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work in-office two days per week.
Daily Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the Global Mile team within the Inbound Planning and Execution (IPEX) division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing logistics processes and facilitating communication between carriers and facilities.
- Coordinating schedules and ensuring timely delivery of freight and parcels to designated fulfillment centers.
- Utilizing email and chat systems for effective communication, minimizing the need for phone interactions.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a reputable organization, where your Excel expertise will be pivotal to your success.
