As a vital member of the Supply Service Representative Team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer support to internal U-Haul locations. This position involves managing order processing and ensuring timely handling of requests as necessary. The SSR team is dedicated to addressing inquiries and concerns related to the Supply Chain effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and suppliers through various channels.
- Identify and escalate supplier performance issues that may negatively affect U-Haul operations to the appropriate teams.
- Resolve disputes in a manner that satisfies all stakeholders while adhering to departmental policies.
- Respond to field feedback regarding order issues in a timely and helpful manner.
- Support Buyers, Planners, and Management with special projects and reporting tasks.
- Review and rectify orders that are in error status.
- Engage in ongoing training with the SSR Team on systems and daily tasks as required.
- Communicate critical updates swiftly and effectively to relevant parties when challenges arise.
- Ensure compliance of orders with Purchasing policies and internal audits.
- Assist in completing all daily SSR tasks as needed.
- Pursue continuous improvement and development of processes for the team.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Positive demeanor and a willingness to assist others.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
