Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Corporate Associate Attorney with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). This role offers a chance to work on significant transactions in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in M&A, private equity, and IPO transactions, including the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of relevant documents.
2. Provide comprehensive legal counsel on various corporate and commercial issues.
3. Collaborate with clients to align legal strategies with their business goals.
4. Conduct detailed due diligence on potential M&A targets and private equity opportunities.
5. Manage and coordinate cross-border transactions.
6. Stay informed on the latest trends in M&A, private equity, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
7. Work alongside other legal professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery.
8. Participate in business development initiatives, including client presentations and educational seminars.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent from an accredited institution is required; an LLM degree is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of experience in M&A, private equity, energy, infrastructure, and IPO transactions.
3. Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with a state bar.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements.
5. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building strong client relationships.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
