Position Overview

The Senior Beverage Supervisor operates under the guidance of the Beverage Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Beverage Supervisor is accountable for:

• Overseeing the setup, cleanliness, and disassembly of the designated bar area.

• Mastery of beverage recipes, accurate transaction processing, and handling of credit card transactions.

• Creating an enjoyable, welcoming, and vibrant atmosphere for all patrons while adhering to the service standards established by Legends Hospitality and relevant regulatory bodies.

Specific Duties:

  • Conducting initial and final inventory counts
    • If discrepancies arise, collaborate with the Bar Supervisor for verification.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between the bartenders and the assigned supervisor
    • Only the lead has the authority to request additional supplies from their bar supervisor.
  • Ensuring all service points are prepared and operational for guests by the designated time.
  • Guaranteeing that all bar equipment is properly cleaned and returned to its designated location.
  • Confirming that the bar and bartenders are ready for dismissal by the supervisor.
  • Submitting all required documentation to the bar supervisor at the end of the shift.
  • Ensuring no point-of-sale systems are left unattended in the assigned bar area.
  • Maintaining the overall aesthetic of the bar before opening and throughout the service period.
  • Fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all alcohol service policies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Valid Alcoholic Beverage Commission certification (TABC).

• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.

• Ability to stand for extended periods without assistance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

• Ability to stand, sit, and use hands for various tasks.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close and distance vision.

• The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.

Practice safe work habits, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and complete all required safety training. Encourage team compliance with safety policies, including reporting any unsafe conditions. Document all safety incidents in the company's risk management system on the same day they occur.
