The Senior Beverage Supervisor is accountable to the Beverage Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Beverage Supervisor is responsible for:

• Overseeing the setup, cleanliness, and dismantling of the designated bar area.

• Mastery of drink recipes, accurate transaction processing, and credit card management.

• Delivering an enjoyable, welcoming, and thrilling experience for all patrons, adhering to the standards for responsible alcohol service as established by Legends Hospitality and relevant regulatory bodies.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conducting initial and final inventory counts
    • If discrepancies arise, confirm with the Bar Supervisor.
  • Acting as the liaison between the bartenders and the assigned supervisor
    • Only the lead has the authority to request additional supplies from their bar supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all registers are operational and ready for service by the designated time.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and proper organization of all bar equipment.
  • Guaranteeing that the bar and bartenders are prepared for dismissal by the supervisor.
  • Submitting all necessary paperwork to the bar supervisor at the end of the shift.
  • Ensuring that no point-of-sale devices are left unattended in the assigned bar area.
  • Maintaining the overall aesthetic of the bar before and during service hours.
  • Fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Ensuring compliance with all alcohol service policies applicable to the venue.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Current certification from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is required.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.

• Capability to stand for extended periods without aid.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule.

• Willingness to work extended hours due to business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand, sit, and use hands for handling, reaching, and feeling.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required for this position include close and distance vision.

• The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.

Practice safe work habits, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, complete company-wide safety training, and any additional job-specific safety training. Encourage your team to follow all safety protocols, including identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, and complete necessary safety training.
