  • Assist guests in navigating the menu, answering inquiries, and providing tailored recommendations.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by surpassing service expectations.
  • Address guest complaints professionally or escalate to management as necessary.
  • Efficiently operate the point-of-sale system and manage cash transactions with precision.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and organization of funds.
  • Set up and dismantle service equipment and supplies as required.
  • Keep work areas organized and clean, including pre-bussing tables and managing service stations.
  • Record orders accurately and input them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing area by properly stacking and organizing dishware.
  • Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items before serving, ensuring appropriate garnishes and condiments are included.
  • Support management in training new staff members when applicable.
  • Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing duties efficiently.
  • Deliver food and beverage items with urgency, ensuring familiarity with table numbers and floor layouts.
  • Occasionally assist with greeting and seating guests as needed.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines as per company policy.
  • Implement safety and sanitation practices as outlined in the safety program, reporting any incidents to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervisors, demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Staff Member Handbook.

Qualifications:

One to two years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage service environment, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
