ROLE OVERVIEW:
As an Electromechanical Wiring Specialist, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality wire harnesses and electro-mechanical systems.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Construct and assemble reliable wire harnesses and electro-mechanical components.
  • Monitor your work progress against established benchmarks to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and controlled documentation.
  • Document work performed using the shop floor management system.
  • Verify flight hardware and meticulously document results.
  • Support the development of production processes for initial production runs.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with mechanical hand tools or following detailed work instructions.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience in a dynamic production environment involving flight hardware.
  • Hands-on experience in fabricating harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, or prototype development.
  • Ability to adapt to frequently changing work assignments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective teamwork capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency in work execution.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as necessary. The role may require standing for extended periods, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted. Candidates must be able to distinguish colors.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Scale:
Electromechanical Wiring Specialist/Level 1: $26.50/hour
Electromechanical Wiring Specialist/Level 2: $31.00/hour
Electromechanical Wiring Specialist/Level 3: $37.00/hour

Your actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, education, and experience. In addition to base salary, you may be eligible for long-term incentives, stock options, and potential bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various discounts. You will also accrue paid vacation and be eligible for paid holidays.
