Electronics Technician PCBA

At Space Exploration Technologies Corp., we're pushing the boundaries of space technology to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As an Electronics Technician PCBA, you'll play a critical role in our mission to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system.
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the design, build, test, and operation of our satellite constellation. As an Electronics Technician PCBA, you'll be responsible for operating PCB assembly machines, manufacturing circuit boards, and performing thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware.
Responsibilities:- Operate PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards, including SMT placement, reflow, paste printer, Conformal coat, masking, epoxy application, coating, optical and x-ray inspection.
- Component kitting and measurement.
- Run thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, teardown, and troubleshooting.
- Support the development of prototype test capabilities for component development and life tests.
- Support engineering to drive the root cause of production yield issues and improve delivered avionics hardware quality.
- High school degree or equivalency certificate.
- 1+ years of hands-on work experience with electromechanical tools, assembly, or testing.
- Ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation and processes.
- Proficient use of a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite, ERP and related programs.
- Experience with electrical wiring, soldering, and setting up and running tests and experiments.
- Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards.
Pay range: $26.50/hour - $37.00/hour, depending on level and experience.
