Electronics Technician, PCBA Specialist

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As an Electronics Technician, PCBA Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our mission to deploy the world's most advanced broadband internet system, Starlink.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency.
  • Conduct thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware, identifying and troubleshooting issues to improve product reliability.
  • Support the development of prototype test capabilities for component development and life tests, collaborating with engineering teams to drive innovation.
  • Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, adhering to scheduled preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Manage schedule priorities and execute work independently to meet company deliverables, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of hands-on work experience with electromechanical tools, assembly, or testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration, or mechanical assembly experience.
  • Associate degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes.
  • Proficient use of a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite, ERP, and related programs.
  • Experience with electrical wiring and soldering, including IPC and/or J-STD certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted.
