Credit Service Representative

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Credit Service Representative to provide effective customer service for all customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit services and regulations, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer-centric service in line with company standards.
- Analyze incoming electronic and telephonic information and requests.
- Manage incoming supplement requests as well as pending requests.
- Direct calls and inquiries to appropriate areas/functions as applicable.
- Process sensitive personal information.
- Review and interpret credit reports and data contained within.
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer calls/electronic requests.
- Process supplements on a timely basis, meeting departmental goals on production, turn-time, and quality.
- Adhere strictly to training manuals and procedures.
- Follow all workflows and document all actions in proprietary systems.
- Answer incoming phone calls within 3 rings.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Participate in skills training, as requested.
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations and Universal policies and procedures.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the financial services or credit services industry.
- Strong understanding of credit services and regulations preferred.
