Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable processing. This role will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information
Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices and customer payments
Assist with financial analysis and budgeting, including forecasting and variance analysis

Requirements:

An undergraduate degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of accounting experience, or 10-15 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience. Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel, and experience with QuickBooks is an advantage. The ability to learn and adapt in a growing business, attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement mindset are essential. Ability to cooperate with all levels of employees and management, strong mathematical and analytical skills, self-motivated, and comfortable with some uncertainty are also required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
