At Educational Opportunities for Children & Families (EOCF), we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families through early education, child development, and community collaboration. Celebrating over 56 years of service, we are the premier provider of comprehensive early childhood education and family support programs in Southwest Washington, impacting the lives of more than 1,350 children and families each year.

In addition, our HotShots Youth Sports program serves around 2,000 children in grades 1-6. Our service areas encompass Clark County, Long Beach in Pacific County, and the Woodland section of Cowlitz County.

As a vital member of EOCF's Culture & Development team, you will play a key role in advancing our marketing and outreach goals, with a primary focus on managing social media content and supporting marketing communications, donor engagement, and fundraising initiatives.

This position is based at EOCF's Administration headquarters in Vancouver, WA, and offers a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend work as necessary to attend meetings and community events. This is a full-time, benefitted role, scheduled for 40 hours per week, with a competitive starting salary and a forthcoming cost of living adjustment.

Qualifications:

An Associate's degree in marketing, communications, business management, public relations, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. However, any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate and professional correspondence and reports
  • Experience in creating audience-specific, story-driven written and digital content
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp, Harness, and Little Green Light is a plus
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, multitask, and perform well under pressure
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse staff and partners
  • A sense of urgency, self-motivation, and attention to detail
