Position Summary:

The Epic Revenue Cycle Intermediate Analyst plays a pivotal role in understanding system architecture and execution. This position requires a keen ability to analyze business challenges and propose effective solutions that align with the organization’s objectives for clinical and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and system users to design, implement, and maintain Epic and related systems.
  • Utilize expertise in clinical and business practices to manage data and ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Conduct workflow analysis, identify gaps, and develop improved processes during the integration of new functionalities.
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of hospital leadership and clinical staff to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
  • Lead the Revenue Cycle Applications Team in creating electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflows.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Design, build, and configure Epic system modules, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct thorough testing of system functionalities, including unit and integration testing, and document results.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and ensure software modifications meet Epic specifications.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, applying project management methodologies to track progress and communicate updates.

Qualifications:

Education: A degree in business, information systems, or a healthcare-related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of one year in developing training materials and documenting workflow processes is essential.

Licensure/Certification: Current licensure or certification in a relevant specialty is required, along with Epic Certification or the ability to obtain it within three months of training.
