Position Overview:

The Epic Revenue Cycle Associate Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding system architecture and implementation. This position requires the ability to analyze business challenges and propose solutions that align with organizational objectives, focusing on maintaining clinical and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and system users to design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and maintain Epic and related systems.
  • Utilize knowledge of clinical practices, business operations, and information technology to manage data effectively.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to analyze workflows, conduct gap analyses, and identify necessary process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with hospital leadership, clinicians, and departmental staff.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrates foundational knowledge of Epic and relevant third-party applications.
  • Designs and configures assigned Epic system modules and supporting applications.
  • Develops and maintains documentation for system processes and implements changes as needed.
  • Creates test scripts and conducts various testing phases, documenting results thoroughly.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and ensures compliance with Epic specifications during software modifications.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects, applying project management skills and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Active participation in ongoing education and professional development.
  • Current licensure or certification in a relevant specialty area.
  • Epic Certification or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
