About the Role

PDS Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager Trainee to join our team. As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will play a critical role in the success of our dental offices by learning and implementing best practices in operations management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Assess, hire, and retain top talent, providing comprehensive training, supervision, and coaching to ensure team members excel in their roles.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve staff and patient issues in a timely and effective manner, developing creative solutions to drive positive outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute the PDS Operational Model with consistency, driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth while managing expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
  • Cash Management: Demonstrate proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning, providing coaching and mentoring to team members to drive growth and improvement.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with direct supervisors, promoting trust-based relationships and addressing issues promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, as well as state and federal regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to regional managers, detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, and effectiveness of systems.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Five or more years of related work experience in operational management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Epic, 1VU, BOX, and standard office equipment.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required; reliable means of transportation necessary for frequent travel to multiple offices.
