Job Summary

This position is responsible for acquiring knowledge and skills in all production, management, and supervision operations of the assigned Midwest Manufacturing production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management
    • Ensure that all products are manufactured in the most efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all orders are fulfilled within an acceptable lead time.
    • Involved in setting and evaluating production quotas, both quantity and quality.
    • Manage and lead team members in your area.
    • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to achieve goals.
    • Develop innovative ideas to improve current processes.
  • Facility Maintenance and Utilization
    • Maintain all production facilities in good condition, order, and cleanliness.
    • Optimize equipment usage to meet production demands.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure all safety policies are enforced, training is up-to-date, and equipment is properly guarded and maintained.
    • Document all safety training and maintenance.
    • Maintain open communication with team members regarding safety concerns.
  • Business Performance
    • Achieve the highest possible profit dollars.
    • Balance inventory levels to ensure maximum turnover and in-stock position.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in a manufacturing, engineering, or management-related field (preferred) or equivalent management experience.
    • Willingness and ability to relocate to other plant locations for promotions.
    • Working knowledge of modern sales and management methods and techniques.
    • Ability to write and speak clearly and accurately.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Able to tactfully interact with guests and team members.
    • Strong knowledge of the construction industry.
    • Analytical and interpersonal skills.
