This position is responsible for learning all production, management, and supervision operations of the assigned Midwest Manufacturing production facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Production:**
- Ensure that all product is built in the most efficient way to meet customer demands and company goals.
- Ensure that all orders are filled within an acceptable lead time to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Involved in setting and evaluating production quotas, both quantity and quality, to optimize production efficiency.
- Manage and lead team members in your area to achieve production targets.
- Work with supervisors and managers in your area to accomplish production goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas to improve current production processes and increase efficiency.
**Facility Maintenance and Utilization:**
- Ensure that all production facilities are well-maintained, organized, and clean to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Use equipment to its full capacity to fill orders and meet production targets.
**Safety:**
- Ensure that all safety policies are enforced, all training is up to date, and all equipment is guarded and well-maintained to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Keep all safety training and maintenance documented to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Keep open communication with all team members regarding safety issues and concerns.
**Business Performance:**
- Attain the highest profit dollars possible by optimizing production efficiency and reducing costs.
- Balance inventory and reduce stock to ensure maximum turn and in-stock position to meet customer demands.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in a manufacturing, engineering, or management related field preferred or equivalent management experience.
- Willing and able to relocate to other plant locations for promotions and career growth.
- Working knowledge of modern sales and management methods and techniques.
- Able to write and speak clearly and accurately to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, supervisors, and managers.
- Able to tactfully deal with guests and team members to promote a positive work environment.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its operations.
- Analytical and interpersonal skills to make informed decisions and build strong relationships.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire team members to achieve production targets.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented to drive business performance and achieve company objectives.
- Innovative to develop and implement new ideas and solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
