Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities
    • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads
    • Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs
    • Identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies
    • Work with customers to create solutions utilizing our seals, gaskets, and related product offerings
    • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
    • Develop and implement strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Apply knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients
    • Answer inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large
    • Provide information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Negotiate prices, terms of sales, and related agreements
    • Collaborate with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
  • Meet Performance Metrics and Goals
    • Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to manager
    • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Analytical Skills Sufficient to Develop Solutions to Customer Problems
  • Communication Skills Sufficient to Persuade Others and Establish Trusting Relationships
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged Periods of Sitting in a Vehicle or Working on a Computer
