Job Overview:
The Boiler Service Trainee program offers comprehensive training over a period of up to five years. The trainee will engage in hands-on learning under the guidance of an experienced Boiler Service Technician, reporting directly to the Associate Service Manager.

In this role, the trainee will assist the service team by applying mechanical skills, demonstrating a willingness to learn, and adhering to safety protocols while effectively communicating with team members.


Key Responsibilities:

The trainee will be expected to develop skills in the following areas:

- Service, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning components and equipment.
- Adjust and maintain boiler systems, burners, and combustion systems, along with ancillary equipment used in industrial and commercial boiler systems and fuel-fired process heating applications.


Additional Responsibilities Include:

- Assisting Service Technicians with routine service calls and scheduled maintenance.
- Preparing boilers for state-required inspections.
- Completing safety training programs and maintaining safety awareness.
- Performing routine maintenance on boiler and combustion systems.
- Conducting annual ASME CSD-1 testing.
- Monitoring equipment operation within manufacturer limits, including checking safety devices and operating controls, recording data, and identifying potential issues.


Support Functions:
- Aiding field operations with the pickup and delivery of parts and materials.
- Participating in ongoing education through classes or seminars to stay updated on new equipment, procedures, and technology, as well as engaging in independent study related to the industry.
