Role Overview: Under direct supervision, the HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support to our local manufacturing facility. This includes responsibilities related to recruitment, staffing, employee documentation, job evaluation, compensation, and benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee records through the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new employees, including orientation and safety training.
  • Manage employee benefits by processing enrollments and changes due to life events.
  • Conduct recruitment activities, including job postings, resume evaluations, and interview scheduling.
  • Review employee files to respond to inquiries and provide information to authorized personnel.
  • Compile HRIS data and generate reports as needed.
  • Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility documentation.
  • Assist in payroll processing by recording data and computing wages.
  • Maintain records for employee benefits administration.
  • Administer and track FMLA, STD, LTD, and ADA compliance, including monitoring benefit paybacks.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Support company communications, HR policies, and training initiatives.
  • Address IT requests for current staff and new hires.
  • Produce identification badges for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
