pbJob Summary/bbrbrThe Assistant Plant Controller plays a critical role in the financial management and control of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for assisting in the oversight and optimization of financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support operational decision-making./ppbKey Responsibilities/bbrbr Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.br Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts and reviewing journal entries.br Generate variance analyses and financial reports for management and corporate stakeholders.br Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets.br Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization.br Prepare and update financial forecasts to support short-term and long-term planning.br Analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and variances to identify opportunities for cost reduction.br Implement and monitor cost control initiatives, working closely with production and procurement teams.br Supervise the valuation and control of inventory.br Monitor inventory turnover rates and work on strategies to optimize inventory levels.br Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.br Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including financial and tax audits.br Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations.br Implement best practices and automation where applicable to streamline financial processes.br Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support.br Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.br Provide financial analysis and data-driven insights to aid operational decision-making./ppbRequirements/bbrbr Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.br Minimum of 2 years of progressive financial management experience.br Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.br Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.br Cost accounting and financial modeling a plus.br Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.br Proficiency in using financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.br Ability to identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.br Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving financial goals./p
