Job Title: Quality Manager

At Tekni-Plex, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent quality of our production, meeting both external and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a plant-level quality management system, including quality manuals and auditing of practices.
  • Lead validation processes using statistical sampling plans to develop process stability characteristics.
  • Drive plant standards, procedures, and program plans for achieving and maintaining the required level of product quality, reliability, and functional validity.
  • Manage the plant quality performance measurement systems to promote and implement continuous quality improvements.
  • Provide plant personnel training on quality assurance & SQF/HACCP topics.
  • Implement methods, tools, and procedures to test, record, and assess quality.
  • Plan and coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance of quality employees.
  • Responsible for budgets and business planning for department and responsible for establishing and meeting department goals and objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and lead plant initiatives for quality and customer complaint issues within the division.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
  • Six Sigma certification, internal SQF/HACCP auditor certification, or other relevant quality management certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
