Job Summary

LMK Recruiting is seeking a driven and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative to spearhead our market development initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding relationships with new clients while deepening engagement with existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Penetrate new markets while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Conduct Direct Sales Calls and Presentations: Engage with targeted customer segments across the designated market area.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Track sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Provide expert insights to clients through ongoing product training.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of proven success in Outside Sales, preferably within the HVAC or industrial rental market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
  • Willingness to spend 90%+ of time in the field (travel) engaging with clients.
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial product sales, particularly within the HVAC rental industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities.
  • Knowledge of the construction contracting and engineering processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is desirable.
  • Competitive drive and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Excel, Windows, Outlook, CRM systems, and other relevant software.
