We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assembly Technician to join our team at EPOC Enviro. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for assembling and testing containerized water treatment plant units.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Testing: Assemble units per design drawings and work instructions, including assembly, pipe fitting and machining, as required.
- Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Assemble electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Quality Control: Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
- Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve issues, and train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
- Education: Associate's degree in mechatronics, mechanical / electrical engineering technology, or electronics engineering preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 - 7 years of experience in advanced technical assembly.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC systems, experience with SLC 500 and VFD systems, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and proficiency with common electrical testing tools.
- Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive Salary: $28 - $29/hour.
