Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Opening and Closing Clinic Duties: Ensure the clinic is prepared for the day, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Patient Check-in and Verification: Greet patients, verify insurance, and check them in for appointments.
  • Document Scanning and Maintenance: Scan documents into the electronic health record and maintain the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter.
  • Scheduling and Follow-up: Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Designated Tasks and Supplies: Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, order clinic office supplies, and sell and track cosmetic products.
  • Mail Distribution and Preparation: Distribute mail and prepare for next day scheduled appointments.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recent medical office experience is required.
  • Skills: Proficient in basic computer functions, ability to learn new software quickly, excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to operate standard office equipment.
