Lead HUMINT Training Specialist

Position Overview
DarkStar Intelligence, LLC is in search of a seasoned Lead HUMINT Training Specialist to enhance our team. This full-time, on-site role necessitates U.S. citizenship along with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in the creation, implementation, and facilitation of training programs focused on Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). A profound comprehension of HUMINT operations, particularly regarding Title 10 and Title 50 authorities, is essential for effectively instructing and guiding students. As a Lead Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the relevance of training materials, assessing student performance, and supporting both theoretical and practical training sessions. This position offers a chance to significantly contribute to the enhancement of vital intelligence capabilities within the U.S. government.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, facilitate, and deliver comprehensive training across all domains of Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). Ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials through ongoing research and analysis.
  • Instruct with expertise across the complete range of HUMINT training principles, including Title 10 and Title 50.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify training needs and engage in course assessments to gauge the effectiveness on students' knowledge and job performance.
  • Assess student performance through both verbal and written evaluations in line with established course standards and procedures.
  • Administer, evaluate, and coordinate instructional segments within the CI and HUMINT training curriculum, adhering to Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) protocols.
  • Deliver training through diverse methods, including classroom lectures, small group sessions, and practical exercises (e.g., role-playing), conducted in-residence at a government facility.
  • Act as a platform instructor and may deploy for CONUS field-training exercises, serving as an instructor and/or role player alongside active-duty military and DoD civilian instructors.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • CI Poly (Preferred)
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of pertinent operational experience in HUMINT Overt/Clandestine operations or HUMINT Operations Support.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in DoD CI and HUMINT enabling, collection operations management policies, legal authorities, functions, methodologies, and associated IT systems.
  • Education: Completion of a recognized IC-level HUMINT course, such as:
    • Marine Amphibious Ground Task Force (MAGTF-CI/HUMINT)
    • Defense Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC)
    • Defense Overt Source Operations Course (DOSOC)
    • Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC)
    • Source Operations Course (SOC)
    • Advanced Military Source Operations Course (AMSOC)
    • Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC)
    • Advanced Source Operations Training (ASOT-III)
    • Military Operations Training Course (MOTC)
    • Field Tradecraft Course (FTC)
    • Operations Tradecraft Course (OTC)
    • HUMINT Support courses such as HUMINT Collection Operations Manager Course (HCOM), HUMINT Collection Management Officer (HCMO), HUMINT Collection Managers Course (HCMC), Operations Support Officer Course (OSOC), HUMINT Desk Officer Course (HDOC), Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC), or an IC School equivalent.
