Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Expert to join our team as a Safety Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and contractors within our campuses and operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, potential risks, and areas for improvement in our workplaces.
  • Protocol Implementation: Develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Safety Training: Provide comprehensive training to employees on topics such as proper equipment usage, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition.
  • Investigations: Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with operational employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around $73,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
