Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Construction Site Manager to oversee the operations of our construction sites in the DMV region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects, coordinating with supervisors and employees, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations on site.
  • Develop and implement work schedules that align with employee availability, labor laws, and project deadlines.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and prioritize activities based on weather conditions, supply delivery, and personnel availability.
  • Delegate responsibilities to crew members and contractors, and provide training and mentorship as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage employees and contractors to meet project needs.
  • Ensure adequate resources and staffing to meet safety requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
  • Emphasize the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment, including training on safety gear and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards on all sites.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure timely completion and profitability.
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunication on-site quickly and effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • US citizenship or green card holder required; security clearance necessary for secure facilities.
  • Able to provide tax and work-related documents.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a construction foreman or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and OSH guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, and ability to read drawings and plans.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Math aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $ $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the cost of living in the DMV region.
