About the Role

At Gallman Consulting, we're seeking a talented Digital Design Specialist to join our team as a Virtual Construction Expert. This exciting opportunity involves coordinating and supporting virtual design, BIM, and construction efforts across various sectors.

We need someone with excellent communication and collaboration skills, who can work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate digital models and construction documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed digital models and coordinate virtual design processes to enhance project planning and execution.
  • Lead clash detection efforts, identifying and resolving design conflicts across architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project designs and timelines.
  • Develop accurate and detailed documentation of design changes and project updates for the construction team.
  • Support the project management team in reviewing project scopes, timelines, and cost estimates using virtual models.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in virtual design coordination, BIM modeling, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Payscale Information: The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, profit sharing, and paid holidays.
