About the Position:

Wells Fargo is looking for an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) within our National Branch Network, part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Explore the various career paths and business sectors available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple branch locations within a designated area, filling in for bankers or tellers who are unavailable or to cover temporary vacancies.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and new environments while addressing customer needs effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering relationships through proactive outreach and recommending suitable products, services, and digital solutions to assist customers in achieving financial success.
  • Assist customers with basic inquiries related to opening new accounts, fulfilling service requests, and processing credit applications.
  • Follow guidance from management while exercising judgment within established policies and procedures.
  • Gain knowledge of banking products and services to align with customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate genuine care and build rapport.
  • Provide suitable options for banking products and services to customers.
  • Refer customers to other bankers and partners for additional financial needs as necessary.
  • This SAFE position involves customer interaction and responsibilities that may include negotiating terms and/or processing applications for secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service orientation with experience managing complex transactions across various systems.
  • Proven ability to engage customers proactively through outreach via phone or email.
  • Capability to educate customers on technology and highlight the benefits of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to assist customers in achieving financial success by connecting them with additional team members as needed.
  • Experience collaborating with team members to fulfill customer needs.
  • Proficient in cultivating and nurturing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to establish solid relationships with internal partners.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Skill in identifying potential fraud or risky accounts and taking appropriate preventive measures.
  • Professional and respectful interaction with customers and team members.
  • Relevant military experience, including familiarity with military protocols and personnel management.
  • Experience in supporting customers and employees in resolving or escalating issues or complaints.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the district.
  • Ability to commute to assigned locations for the duration of branch assignments.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Manage cash drawer responsibilities, including cash handling and balancing, while completing service-related tasks as required.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • SAFE registration is required upon employment, with the registration process initiated immediately after the start date.
