We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Credit Portfolio Management team at Ares Management. As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the investment team in the analysis and management of our credit portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance
- Conduct thorough analysis of credit risk, including industry trends, company performance, and market conditions
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment committee
- Monitor industry events and trends to identify potential investment opportunities
- Collaborate with the investment team to develop and implement investment strategies
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, economics, or business
- 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, sell-side research, or principal investing
- Advanced knowledge of leveraged finance, restructuring, and/or credit analysis
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ares Management offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $130,000 to $175,000, as well as a discretionary performance-based bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) program with company match, and flexible savings accounts.
