Are you dedicated to fostering civic engagement in upcoming elections? As a Voter Mobilization Team Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in energizing thousands of voters throughout California, ensuring their voices resonate by Election Day. You will lead a passionate team, receive thorough training, and contribute to a robust voter mobilization initiative. This position is seasonal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a variety of communities to promote voter participation.
- Supervise a committed team of 8-10 Voter Mobilization Fellows.
- Compensated at $25/hour while making a significant impact on voter turnout.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in canvassing, phone banking, or campaign work.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with communication platforms such as Slack, virtual meeting tools like Zoom, and cloud-based systems like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- Proficient typing skills with a good understanding of basic computer functions.
- Deep commitment to social and racial justice.
- Availability to work evenings, Sunday through Thursday (2:30 pm-7:30 pm).
- Access to reliable internet (5-10MB download and 5MB+ upload speeds).
Compensation and Benefits:
This remote position offers an hourly wage of $25 for up to 30 hours weekly. A reimbursement of $20 per pay period is provided for computer and internet usage.
