About the School Bus Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
