Job Overview

Salary: $150k-$175k

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Financial Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO and the board, overseeing all financial and accounting functions within a rapidly expanding healthcare organization. This role entails collaboration with management to drive the achievement of the company’s performance indicators, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation and oversight of financial records and statements on a monthly basis.
  • Monitoring and managing all accounting operations.
  • Providing recommendations for financial benchmarks.
  • Development of the annual budget and forecasts in partnership with various departments.
  • Collaboration with external auditors and CPAs for tax filing preparations.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervision of accounting personnel.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

This position directly supervises other financial roles within the division.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust accounting skills encompassing treasury, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit management.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel is primarily local during business hours, with potential for some out-of-area and overnight travel.
