Position Overview:


The Client Change Request Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating all client-related needs tied to the development and execution of client-generated Change Requests, which encompass new and existing Batch scripts, User Interface scripts, Interfaces, Reports, and Forms.

This position guarantees that client change requests are thoroughly evaluated and processed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all client-initiated Change Request submissions.
  • Responsible for assessing and validating all client-generated Change Requests for duplicates, completeness, accuracy, and clarity. Engages directly with clients to address inquiries, request additional information as necessary, and provide updates on progress.
  • Capable of effectively differentiating between
    Change Requests (new and enhanced functionalities),
    Incidents requiring troubleshooting,
    Professional Services Projects (Special Projects and Consulting) and redirects non-change requests to the appropriate teams as necessary.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge and a detailed understanding of all processes related to client-generated change requests, with the ability to clearly distinguish among various Change Request Types: Batch Scripts, UI Scripts, Interfaces, Reports, and Forms.
  • Ensures that change requests are well-documented, clearly understood, and assigned to the correct development team.
  • Collaborates closely with Development Software Services management, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to prioritize and effectively communicate both internal and external expectations regarding estimates, development timelines, testing, and delivery of change requests.
  • Facilitates effective communication with clients regarding change request submissions.
  • Assists in the coordination, organization, prioritization, research, and resolution of change requests.
  • Ensures timely escalation of Change Request issues as necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Experience:

Three to twelve months of relevant experience in a similar role.

Education:
A college degree in a non-technical field, or multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs, or in-depth industry-specific technical skills gained through a combination of formal education and practical training.
