Position Overview:

SOVAH Health - Danville is currently seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT). This role involves performing a variety of technical CT examinations while adhering to established standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations for patients and staff.
  • Educate patients about procedures and equipment to promote understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct quality control checks on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions as needed.
  • Analyze imaging results and address any quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures when necessary.

Qualifications:

A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the role may require working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous patient care.
