About the Job:

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Danville, Virginia. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist in the state of Virginia
  • 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
