Job Summary

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists with obtaining radiographs using stationary and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Assist technologists with obtaining radiographs using portable units as needed on nursing units and within the radiology department.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
  • Assist technologists with positioning patients and performing imaging procedures.
  • Verify patient identification before performing any procedure.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Senior in a Program in Radiologic Technology required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
