Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist technologists with obtaining radiographs using stationary and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Assist technologists with obtaining radiographs using portable units as needed on nursing units and within the radiology department.
- Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
- Assist technologists with positioning patients and performing imaging procedures.
- Verify patient identification before performing any procedure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Senior in a Program in Radiologic Technology required.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
