Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Radiologic Technician to conduct a variety of imaging procedures in alignment with established protocols and standards. The successful candidate will:
  • Review patient medical histories and physician directives.
  • Provide education to patients regarding imaging procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as per scope of practice when required.
  • Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes in status.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
  • Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions.
  • Position patients accurately and perform imaging procedures.
  • Analyze imaging results and address any quality issues, including repositioning patients as needed.
  • Document and report imaging results efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions independently are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for weekends and holidays.

Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.

Experience:
Previous clinical experience is preferred.
