Job Summary

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech Student to join our team as a PRN Radiology Tech Student. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for assisting technologists with various imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining a high level of quality in our diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists with obtaining radiographs using stationary and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Assist with positioning patients and the performance of imaging procedures
  • Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures
  • Verify patient identification before the performance of any procedure
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Senior in a Program in Radiologic Technology required
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current clinical experience in a Radiologic Technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) certification
