Human Resources Manager Job Description

At DSJ Global, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes for our chemical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure staffing needs are met with high-quality talent.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, including OSHA and chemical safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development programs to ensure employees are equipped with necessary skills.
  • Payroll and Employee Data: Administer payroll and manage employee data records.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll management.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
