Responsibilities
  • Takes an active role and partners with the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, point of sale operations, inventory management and rotation, ARC merchandising standards, and donations
  • Assumes responsibility for all day-to-day store operations, including personnel and cash handling, in the absence of the Store and/or Assistant Manager
  • Assists the store manager in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to drive store sales and increase profitability
  • Schedules Store Employees to ensure adequate store coverage and coordinates daily morning and shift change team meetings
  • Provides coaching, training, and development to Store Employees and is responsible for the processing of paperwork per Review Standards
  • Ensures high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction through excellent service and develops strategies to improve service to maximize the customer experience
  • Supports Store Manager to ensure Back Room Processors/Warehouse Associates work effectively and efficiently to meet daily processing goals
  • Responsible for supervision, support, and conduct reporting of program Beneficiaries if or when Work Therapy Assignments are put in place at the store
  • Responsible for the protection and security of store currency, inventory, and property, including safe funds, bank deposits, products for sale, store equipment, and building security
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of previous retail experience and Supervisory experience preferred
  • Must pass a background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
  • Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, and rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
Pay Rate and Schedule

$17.00 per hour. Our stores operate 7 days per week, and work schedules are determined by Management. Employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage.
