Your Responsibilities
  • Perform statistical evaluations to assess the effects of modifications in credit strategies within a dynamic industry landscape.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of engineers and analysts to innovate underwriting processes.
  • Engage proactively with diverse stakeholders to analyze patterns, evaluate their implications, and recommend solutions or enhancements.
  • Ensure that performance metrics and strategies are aligned with the current credit landscape and emerging risks, including macroeconomic trends.
  • Provide analytical insights on new offerings and market opportunities to support broader organizational objectives, collaborating closely with other departments as necessary.
  • Establish comprehensive controls, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
  • Advance your professional development in an entrepreneurial environment, allowing you to explore areas of personal interest.
  • Utilize analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar) to examine data, identify trends, and challenge business decisions.
Your Profile
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, fintech, or other high-growth environments in a quantitative or analytical capacity.
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a Business-related field.
  • A proven track record in enhancing business performance and identifying strategic gaps, particularly in financial services and credit risk management.
  • Technologically adept, with the capability to formulate rules for credit assessments.
  • Proficient in data extraction and manipulation, as well as programming languages (SQL, R, Python, MatLab, Java, C#, etc.).
  • Demonstrated drive, ambition, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
  • A curious mindset with a passion for exploring the underlying reasons behind business decisions.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies.
  • Understanding of macroeconomic trends and their implications for credit risk.
  • Prior involvement in product launches and market expansion initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of regulatory standards within the financial services sector.
Compensation
Salary range - $118,000 - $150,000

In addition to the base salary, Klarna offers a comprehensive compensation package.
