Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations and treatment of communication disorders in children from birth to 3 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Evaluations and Treatment: Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders in children.
- Case Coordination and Parent Counseling: Work closely with families to provide support and guidance on communication development and strategies to promote language skills.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with the Early Intervention Client System.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work in close collaboration with the Early Intervention Clinical Team to ensure seamless delivery of services and optimal patient outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field and current Massachusetts state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience: 1-3 years of directly related clinical experience with infants and toddlers preferred.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds and provide culturally sensitive services.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or another language given special consideration.
- Travel and Mobility: Ability to travel independently to visit EI clients in their homes, daycares, and other community settings.
