Job Summary

The Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team. As a Speech Language Pathologist - Early Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations and treatment of communication disorders in children from birth to 3 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify communication disorders in infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide case coordination and parent counseling services to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and research in the field.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field.
  • 1-3 years of directly related clinical experience with infants and toddlers preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or another language given special consideration.
  • Ability to travel independently to visit clients in their homes, daycares, and other community settings.
