**About Venice Suites**

Venice Suites is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team. As a Guest Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide personalized service to hotel guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Check-in and check-out guests, handling all aspects of the front desk process.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the PBX equipment, accepting incoming calls and assisting outgoing calls, setting wake-up calls, and communicating with guests to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources, such as department and front desk log books, to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or better.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a like or similar role within hotel operations, demonstrating progressive career path responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with hotel operations software and sales programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
