Sales Development Representative

Ryerson is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and growing transactional relationships with new and existing customers in the metals industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales profitability targets
- Build strong relationships with customers and promote Ryerson's E-commerce capabilities
- Work closely with the inside sales team, credit center, inventory managers, and other departments to ensure seamless customer service
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and provide market intelligence to sales management to inform service center sales strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in the metals service center industry or similar industrial sales background
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in SAP a plus
- Strong business acumen, excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
