Regional Safety Manager Position

COGS is seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily audits of work areas and provide safety expertise to the project team.
- Prepare professional reports and conduct safety briefings to address site safety issues.
- Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency responses as needed.
- Identify and implement necessary safety program elements to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety training and testing for all personnel on site.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field is preferred.
- Holding a professional safety certification, such as Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), ASP, CSP, is preferred.
- Training in OSHA 500 is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant safety construction experience.
